Questions
Frequently asked questions
The drawer
Is Kaartenbak a CRM?
No, on purpose. There are no sales funnels, scores or campaigns. One card per customer, what you agreed and when you call back. Nothing more.
Can I import the contacts from my phone?
Yes. Export your contacts as vCard or CSV on your phone or in your mail program and import them under Keep. Doubles are skipped.
What is a tab?
The coloured rider on top of a card, as in a real card index. You use them as labels, for example Regular or Quote, and search with them later.
Do I get a notification when I have to call someone back?
No. Kaartenbak sends no notifications. Under Follow-up you see who is due today, this week or later. With Bureel Plus you put the follow-up dates in your own calendar.
Privacy
Does nealvdv see my customers?
No. Your cards are only in the browser of this device. No server receives them.
May I simply keep customers on file?
For customers you work with, usually yes, as long as you keep only what you need and show, correct or erase it on request. Read the privacy explanation; when in doubt, ask the Data Protection Authority.
What if a customer asks to be erased?
Open the card and choose Remove. If the customer is also in an export or backup you kept, remove them there too.
The app
Does it work on my phone and my laptop?
Yes, in any recent browser. But every device has its own drawer. Syncing comes soon with Bureel Plus; until then, move a backup across.
What does it cost?
Cards, notes, follow-up dates, tabs, CSV, vCard and backup are free. Bureel Plus adds the follow-up calendar; the price is at Bureel.
What happens if I clear my browser?
Then your cards are gone. Make a backup under Keep regularly.
